Day 1: Airport – Oporto
- Arrival at Oporto airport. Transfer to the 4* accommodation in Oporto. Free day for personal activities.
Day 2: Oporto
- Visit the historical center of the second city of Portugal, classified as world heritage by UNESCO, including a visit to some of its landmarks, such as the Clérigos tower and the Stock Exchange palace.
- Visit to Port wine cellars where we will taste and get to know the history of this generous wine. 4* accommodation in Oporto.
Day 3: Oporto
- Visit to the dynamic, modern and fashionable Oporto. Stroll along the beaches of Foz and Matosinhos and have a drink in a esplanade by the sea. Have lunch in a local restaurant with a wide and diverse offer of octopus, fish or seafood. Visit to Música House, the contemporary art museum of Serralves and its gardens.
Day 4: Oporto – PN Peneda Gerês – Gerês
- Full day tour to the Peneda-Gerês National Park which is considered as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. It is one of the major natural attractions of Portugal, for its rare and impressive beauty.
- After breakfast, we will take you to Ponte da Barca and Arcos de Valdevez. We go up towards the Serra do Soajo, in the heart of the national park. Visit to the characteristic granaries. Via Lindoso we take Germil towards the Vilarinho das Furnas dam, passing through Brufe. We end the day in the thermal village of Gerês. 4* accommodation in Gerês.
Day 5: Gerês – Bom Jesus - Braga
- After breakfast visit to Braga the oldest Portuguese city known as Bracara Augusta during the Roman Empire. Walk through the city's historical center visiting the Cathedral, whose construction dates back to the 11th century, the eternally flowery gardens of Santa Bárbara and the city's numerous historic streets.
- The tour proceeds to the sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, one of the most important and visited tourist attractions in Braga. Its large stairway consists of 573 steps, and the sanctuary mixes different architectural styles, such as rococo, baroque and neoclassical. 4* accommodation in Braga
Day 6: Braga – Guimarães - Régua
- After breakfast we move to Guimarães, the "cradle of Portugal". Visit to the medieval castle and the romanesque church of São Miguel where Dom Afonso Henriques (first Portuguese king) was baptized.Visit to the 15th century majestic palace of the Dukes of Bragança. Walking tour through the historic center considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
- The tour proceeds to Douro region. 4* accommodation in Régua
Day 7: Régua - Pinhão
- The land, the vineyard and the river. Alto Douro vineyard: classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, in the category of living evolutionary cultural landscape.
- After breakfast, visit Mesão Frio and some of the most beautiful villages in the region. On Régua, a mandatory visit to the Douro Museum / Casa do Douro. The Douro Museum is the result of the rehabilitation of one of the most emblematic buildings in the history of the delimited Douro region. The journey continues to the hillsides of the Corgo river and its characteristic walled terraces. Visit to Tabuaço and Pinhão where we end the day. 4* accommodation in Pinhão.
Day 8: Pinhão – VN Foz Côa - Trancoso
- After breakfast, travel to S. João da Pesqueira where you can see the historical center. Before arriving to Vila Nova de Foz Côa we´ll visit the belvedere of S. Salvador do Mundo, with two fantastic riverside views.
- The tour proceeds to the Côa archaeological park and museum that holds an extraordinary set of rock art. The Côa Valley archaeological park is unique in the world because it is full of open-air rock art. The Côa Valley archaeological park has been classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO. 4 * accommodation in Trancoso.
Day 9: Trancoso – Belmonte – Sortelha – Piodão – Coimbra
- Visit to the historical villages, starting with the walled village that gave us accommodation - Trancoso. The journey continues through Belmonte, with its castle marking the landscape. The village is linked with the resistance of the Jewish community and the place where the first European to arrive in Brazil - Pedro Álvares Cabral - was born. Visit to Sortelha which is one of the most beautiful and ancient Portuguese villages, having kept its urban and architectural physiognomy unchanged until today.
- Then the journey continues towards Piodão, one of the most photographed Portuguese villages. The houses in schist and the whitewashed main church are the highlight. Between the mountain roads of the Serra do Açor, you reach Coimbra. 4 * accommodation in Coimbra.
Day 10: Coimbra
- We will dedicate the day to visit Coimbra, a university city, where the oldest university in Portugal and one of the oldest in Europe is located. The university was founded in 1290 and declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Coimbra is full of narrow alleys, courtyards, stairways and medieval arches,. Accommodation in a 4* hotel in Coimbra.
Day 11: Coimbra – Fátima Sanctuary – Lisbon
- After breakfast, departure to the sanctuary of Fatima, a place of pilgrimage and Catholic devotion. It is one of the most important Marian sanctuaries in the world and the largest international destination for religious tourism, receiving about six million visitors/year.
- Next visit is the Batalha Monastery, one of the most beautiful works of Portuguese and European architecture. This monument is a World Heritage site by UNESCO, since 1983. We continue towards Lisbon. Accommodation 4* hotel in Lisbon.
Day 12: Lisbon – Sintra – Cascais – Lisbon
- Full day excursion to the natural park of Sintra - Cascais. Visit to Sintra, a picturesque Portuguese village, located in the heart of the Sintra's mountains. The first stop will be the Sintra National Palace, followed by the Moorish Castle, built in the 9th century for protection, but unable to defend the Moors against the Christian crusades. The next tourist attraction is the palace of Pena which is located on top of the hill and was designed by the artistic King Ferdinand II. The palace is an extravagant mixture of bright colours and beautiful stone sculptures.
- Trip to the westernmost point of continental Europe - the Cape of Roca. On the way back to the capital, a short stop will be made in the beautiful town and seaside resort of Cascais. Accommodation in 4* hotel in Lisbon.
Day 13: Lisbon

From traditional Lisbon to the Tagus estuary. In the morning, a visit to the Belém tower which is an ex-libris of the city and an icon of the architecture of the reign of King D.Manuel I; to the Monument of the Discoveries which evokes the Portuguese overseas expansion and synthesizes a glorious past, symbolizing the greatness of the work of Infante D. Henrique (Prince Henry) the driver of the discoveries; the Jerónimos Monastery is the culmination of Manueline architecture and where nowadays the National Pantheon is located. The morning could not end without a visit to the house "Pasteis de Belém" (Belém Pastries), to taste the traditional pastries.
- In the afternoon, stop at the Praça do Comércio (Commerce Square) and the castle of São Jorge which stands on the highest hill in the historical center providing visitors with one of the most beautiful views over the city and the estuary of the river Tagus; at the Santa Luzia viewpoint which has a wide view over Alfama and the river Tagus and finally the Cathedral of Lisbon. For dinner, customers can ask the guide for suggestions, and if it is of interest, ask for a reservation at a fado restaurant in the traditional "Bairro de Alfama".
Day 14: Lisbon
- Free day for personal activities in Lisbon.
Day 15: Lisbon
- Breakfast in the accommodation. Transfer to the airport according to the schedule of the flight.
