Day 1: Lisbon - Almendres - Évora
- Departure from Lisbon to Almendres after breakfast (8:30 am).
- Visit the largest megalithic enclosure of the Iberian peninsula in Almendres, one of the oldest known monuments of mankind. On the way to Évora, you can also admire the great tapir of Zambujeiro, one of the largest megalithic monuments in Europe.
- After lunch in Évora, we set off on a pedestrian walk visiting the charming public garden, where you can see the “fake ruins”, D.Manuel's palace and a huge number of peacocks walking freely. We continue our tour through the historic center, discovering some of its most important landmarks, such as the Giraldo Square, the breathtaking Bones Chapel or the majestic Cathedral. You must stop at one of the city's traditional patisseries to delight yourself with the divine conventual sweets. 4 * accommodation in Évora.
Day 2: Évora – Monsaraz – Reguengos de Monsaraz - Lisbon
- After breakfast (9:00 a.m.) departure from Évora towards the medieval village of Monsaraz, its picturesque nooks, and its dazzling view over the Alqueva lagoon.
- Departure to Reguengos de Monsaraz where we will visit a winery, taste some of the famous Alentejo wines and get to know a bit more about their production.
- Experience Alentejo food for lunch. After lunch, we will return to Lisbon (arrival at 19:00h).
