Day 1: Airport– Oporto

  • Arrival at Oporto airport. Transfer to the 4* accommodation in Oporto. Free day for personal activities.

Day 2: Oporto

  • Visit the historical center of the second city of Portugal, classified as world heritage by UNESCO. Walk through the medieval city, a unique example of an urban landscape endowed with identity, strong character and aesthetic quality.
  • Free afternoon for personal activities. 4* accommodation in Oporto.

Day 3: Oporto – Douro valley – Oporto

  • Full day tour to the Douro region. Visit to a cellar where we will have lunch and taste the famous Port wine.
  • Travel through unique landscapes of mountains and rivers, discovering places and traditions where you can feel the faith and perseverance of a people. In Amarante on the banks of its river we´ll discover the monastery of S. Gonçalo, in Lamego we´ll visit the sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. Return to Porto after  visiting Pinhão. 4* accommodation in Oporto.

Day 4: Oporto – Minho – Oporto

  • Full day tour to Guimarães, Braga and Barcelos.
    • Travel to Minho, a spring of water, where the green of the fields and mountains dominate the landscape. In addition to its unique landscape, the monumental antiquity of urban centers, such as Braga, make Minho a very charming region. Braga is a city of deep religious roots. Walk through the city's historical center visiting some of its most valuable monuments.  Visit to Bom Jesus do Monte going up in one of the oldest elevators in the world.
    • Lunch at a typical Portuguese restaurant. In the afternoon, we continue to Guimarães, the birthplace of the 1st king of Portugal. Its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 4* accommodation in Oporto.

Day 5: Oporto – Serra da Estrela natural park

  • Departure from Oporto to the Estrela Mountains Natural Park, part of the mountain chain where the highest elevation in mainland Portugal is located, with 1993 metres of altitude. Accommodation in a mountain hotel in Seia.
  • Visit a cheese production plant to taste the most renowned cheese in the country, the Serra cheese. It is a cheese made from sheep's milk curdled by the thistle flower, a native plant of the region. It is a cured cheese, with semi-soft, buttery white or yellowish paste.

Day 6: Seia – Coimbra

  • Departure from Seia to Coimbra, a university city, where the oldest university in Portugal and one of the oldest in Europe is located. A city of narrow alleys, courtyards, stairways and medieval arches, it is in Coimbra that we can find the tomb of Dom Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal.
  • Free afternoon for personal activities. 4* accommodation in Coimbra.

Day 7: Coimbra – Óbidos

  • Departure from Coimbra towards Fatima, one of the most important references of the Marian cult in the world, where pilgrims from all over the planet are gathered. We will visit the sanctuary area where the basilica with the tombs of Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia is located as well as the chapel of the apparitions.
  • After lunch, travel to Alcobaça, visiting the monastery, one of the 7 wonders of Portugal, classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. From Alcobaça we proceed to the village of Óbidos. 4* accommodation in Óbidos

Day 8: Óbidos – Lisbon

  • Visit to the picturesque and well-preserved medieval town of Óbidos. Walking through the labyrinthine streets inside the walls we can find charming nooks and crannies and a well-preserved castle.
  • Arrival in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. Visit to the Pombaline downtown, "heart" of the city, built on the ruins of the ancient city of Lisbon, destroyed by the great earthquake of 1755. In the downtown area is also located the Comércio Square, Rossio, Chiado, the Carmo Convent and Restauradores Square. Alfama, one of Lisbon's most popular boroughs, with its typical Arab and medieval architecture and narrow alleys, was one of the few places in Lisbon that survived the Lisbon earthquake of 1755. In Alfama you will find most of the fado houses, where you can enjoy numerous live shows. The Bairro Alto is another of Lisbon's typical boroughs and one of the capital's main areas of nightlife and "reunion" between the city's young people.
  • Next to the Tejo riverside area, to the west of the city center is Belém, a place that evokes the period of the Portuguese discoveries. In this area we can see two monuments classified by UNESCO as World Heritage: the Jerónimos Monastery, built by King Manuel I in 1501 and the best example of the so-called Manueline style. Very close to the Jerônimos monastery is the Belem tower, a military construction to watch over the Tejo river, the great ex-libris of Lisbon and an architectural gem. In addition, Belém also houses the Monument to the Discoveries, the palace of Belém, the official residence of the President of the Republic, the National Coach Museum, the Church of Memory and the Belem Cultural Center. 4* accommodation in Lisbon.

Day 9: Lisbon

  • Free day for personal activities. Dinner in a fado house. 4* accommodation in Lisbon.
  • Fado de Lisboa, one of the national songs, has been part of the cultural and immaterial heritage of humanity since 2011. It is usually sung by a single person (fado singer) and escorted by classical guitar (called viola) and Portuguese guitar. The word fado comes from the Latin fatum, meaning, " fate ". Fado is a melancholic song that sings nostalgia, love and destiny.

Day 10: Lisbon – Sintra – Lisbon

  • Full day tour Sintra, Estoril and Cascais.
  • Departure from Lisbon towards the imposing and romantic Pena Palace located on one of the highest peaks of the Sintra mountain natural park. Free time to wander around the streets of Sintra village that enchanted kings and inspired poets. Enjoy Sintra's famous cheesecakes and pillows (traditional pastries).
  • After lunch, departure to Colares, a demarcated region recognized for its table wine, following to the Cape of Roca, the most occidental point in continental Europe. We´ll visit Guincho beach and Boca do Inferno, enjoying the landscape along the coast, and the cosmopolitan Cascais with a magnificent view over the bay. Return to Lisbon via Estoril coast with a panoramic view of the Casino and its gardens. 4* accommodation in Lisbon.

Day 11: Lisbon – Faro

  • Departure from Lisbon to Évora. As a result of the destruction of Lisbon during the 1755 earthquake, the historic center of Évora – World Heritage Site – is considered the best example of the Portuguese golden age city. Évora is also one of the main gastronomic destinations in Portugal.
  • After lunch we travel to Algarve. 4* accommodation in Faro.

Day 12: Algarve

  • Full day tour around Algarve region. The Algarve is one of the most important tourist regions of Portugal and Europe. Its temperate Mediterranean climate, the warm and calm waters that bathe its southern coast, its natural landscapes, its historical and ethnographic heritage or its delicious and healthy gastronomy are attributes that attract millions of national and foreign tourists every year. In the Algarve you can find some of the best beaches in Southern Europe, and exceptional conditions for outdoor activities and sports.
  • 4* accommodation in Faro.

Day 13: Faro – Airport

  • Breakfast in the accommodation.  Transfer to Faro airport according to the schedule of the flight.
