We can admire various architectural styles, such as the baroque and neoclassical in perfect harmony. A magnificent and spectacular example is the grandiose staircase of the sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte (classified as a UNESCO world heritage site). Walking through Arcada, the city’s elegant centre, you’ll be able to see the chic and historic cafés and taste the delicious local delicacies. Braga is also a university city, very dynamic , home for effervescent start-ups, innovative projects and exhibitions that break old concepts.

Morning: Oporto - Braga
- Departure from Oporto after breakfast (8:30h)
- Visit to the city's ex-libris, the Cathedral, whose construction dates back to the 11th century.
- Walk through the city's historical center, passing through the conciliar seminary of São Pedro and São Paulo, the Raio Palace, a baroque building that houses a rich collection of Braga's Santa Casa da Misericórdia, as well as the intriguing Idol fountain, vestige of the Romans presence in Braga. On the way to the center of the city, where the Arcade is located - a beautiful building with 19 arches that houses two of the oldest cafés in the city - surprise yourself with one of the most beautiful theaters in the country, the Theatro-Circo. Enjoy the gardens and choose one of the many restaurants to have lunch and and taste Portuguese cuisine and wines, with particular attention to the famous vinho verde.
Afternoon: Braga – Bom Jesus – Braga - Oporto
- We continue our walking tour through the historical center, walking down Souto street , full of life, day and night. We walk towards the eternally flowery gardens of Santa Bárbara that adorn the episcopal palace.
- Visit to the sanctuary and belvederes of Bom Jesus do Monte. We will return to Braga in one of the oldest elevators in the world.
- Before returning to Porto be delighted with the traditional pastries of Minho region.
